What Dose Media Mean To Me?

 

Media means to me is all the things above me. For media there are three different types, there is print media witch means like thing that have printed and you read it news papers, magazines, and books. Then you news media, that is basically news but, it is not just on the TV it is the news paper, the weather, This right here is a news media. Thirdly there is broadcast media, that is advertising, billboards, radio, and TV. Here is just a few examples to all the different medias out there.

Slam Dunk

 Hello I see my game has caught your eye, that is no surprise my game is quite amazing. We were doing some fun and hard coding at Tonui Collab.I have made this game called Slam Dunk. I have this man teaching me how to do coding called Mac and had introduced a new app to me called Make Code Arcade. But it was a piece at cake for me to work it because it is basically like Scratch another coding app. I hope you like my game. Just out of curiosity i was wondering if the instructions help?

Libby's Fun, Fantastic, Vocabulary Maui Remix

                                             My classmates and I were learning about making our own game about Maori because we have been learning Maori on a app called Tipu, In class.

When making my game I found it a piece of cake to make the character, in the game. I decided to do a rabbit because I wanted something that suited the background.

One of my struggles were to get the right size for my character and flip it around the right way. Because the rabbit was facing the wall so I wanted to flip it around the right way. While making this game I even learnt some new words as well as learning how to pronounce them. For my next step is to finish off my game because I have to add a few more tweaks I had to do. I really hope you like my game and learn some new words.

Sharp

   We have started sharp and we read a story about a boy called Roland who has been bullied all his life by a boy called Tim in his class. So we had to interview both characters, and see there point of view.

   This was a School activity that we were doing, it is called SHARP.
I found it easy to make the video with Emma Veitch.
I found it hard to remember the lines because we were looking at each other, and it was also hard not to laugh half way through the video.
I really enjoyed making it with Emma because it easy to work with her.

Covid-19

 'We still have to be careful' was what the prime minister said on Monday the 27th of April. This was when we went down to alert level 3. I believe the lockdown is working because there are less cases every day. There have only been 19 deaths in New Zealand. There have only been 3 cases in Gisborne. Also the amount of people that are recovering from the virus is amazing.       


 There have only been 19 deaths in New Zealand. All of the deaths have been elderlies and already had health issues. Canterbury is where the most deaths have been, the virus had got into two retirement villages. All the people that have died  from the Coronavirus were all 70 years and up, also they all had health issues. I reckon there would have been a lot more deaths in New Zealand right now if we hadn't gone into lockdown. So 19 deaths is not as bad as you think"touch wood".                                   


There are only three cases in Gisborne. The three people that unfortunately got the virus have all recovered, which is a relief. The reason we got the virus in our city was because a man brought it from overseas. He was just trying to get back home,but accidentally brought it home with him. A Lot of other cities have the Coronavirus lurking around, like Queenstown lakes, they have a lot. So we are lucky that we have only had three cases.                                                                                           


The amount of people that have recovered. In New Zealand we have had 1469 cases and 1180 have recovered. So that means there are only 270 people in New Zealand right now. We have had 5 more cases today, the 1st of May Friday 2020. 3.25M people in the world have or had the virus. But 1.01M people have recovered. Which means that there are more people that have it than the amount of people that have recovered. But New Zealand is a bit different as more people have recovered, which is good.


After we went into the lockdown there have been less cases every day in New Zealand. In the facts above, we know that there are a lot more that have recovered, and less deaths since we went into lockdown. "We are now on alert level 3 but still act like we are level 4" said the prime minister. We have to make sure we still follow the rules to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

 Today for tech i decided to make some chocolate chip cookies.

I found it easy to curve my name because i had already done it before, but i found out i could do it another even easier way. I found it hard to... to link it to the blog because i had never done it before, but i found it out after i had a look around. I really enjoyed...
